Psychiatric Evaluations
What should I expect during a psychiatric evaluation?
You'll meet with our PMHNP who will ask about your mental health history, current symptoms, and overall well-being. You may also complete questionnaires or other assessments. The evaluation typically lasts 60–90 minutes.
How do I prepare for my psychiatric evaluation?
Gather any relevant medical records, a list of current medications, and information about your mental health history. It's also helpful to write down any questions or concerns you'd like to discuss.
Is the information I share during the evaluation confidential?
Yes, all information shared during your psychiatric evaluation is confidential and protected by HIPAA regulations. We are committed to maintaining your privacy.
Medication Management
How often will I need to come in for medication management?
The frequency depends on your individual needs and the complexity of your medication regimen. Initially you may be seen more frequently; as your condition stabilizes, appointments may decrease.
What if I experience side effects from my medication?
